Molly - What are you talking about?? Barac's experience during the campaign is not the experience needed. I go to movies but I am not experienced in making them. Zigging instead of zagging?? OMG. We need real experience. You may point to Bush and claim he made the wrong decisions but THINK what will happen if you put someone in the White House with practically NO EXPERIENCE. And as for the news report about the woman giving the house back, it has been proven many times that the most generous people to charities are Republican - not Democrats. Please don't be another person wanting someone else to take care of them. We need to help people in need but we also need to make sure that people take care of themselves first

Barack Obama is smart. Not just book-smart, which he is, but politically smart. Throughout this long campaign, he didn't zig when we thought he would zag, or vice versa. He has traveled a straight line, remaining consistent, cool, and calm, no matter what has been thrown at him. He has resisted the temptation to swing at every pitch that's been thrown at him. For any man, but especially for one so young who has had so much thrown at him, Barack Obama has shown a steady hand, the kind of steady hand that has been missing for 8 years. With the world moving so fast, we would be wise to elect someone who can steer us in the right direction, yet keep us on the road. Barack Obama is that leader.

I have read every article I could on both candidates. Baracks whole adult life has been devoted to the service of others. There was a lady tonight on the news that went to a house auction with her son. This auction was a multiple house auction format. The woman realized that the lady sitting next to her was about to lose her home because the bank had forclosed and was selling it at the auction. The woman who had come with her son bought the other poor woman's house and gave it back to her. I relate that kind of action with Barack Obama. I don't expect you to feel the same. That's just my opinion. I sure don't hang out with terrorists. Just a bunch of enthused Americans. Barack

Bacik - I grew up in Michigan and most of my family still live there and I feel for you. It is very, very bad. Unfortunately the unions continued to demand more and deliver less. Increased taxes on companies drove many out of the state and kept Toyota, Honda, Mercedes, BMW and others from coming to Michigan when they wanted to build plants. This is a PERFECT example of what will now happen to our country with higher taxes as companies will go to other countries. The quality of life will continue to drop. Has anyone talked about re-educating the workforce? Your husband should look at moving into welding for construction or in county/state government employment.

i guess i really have to say something..i live in michigan. use to be a great place to live. i am lucky for now..i work in a health care facility. a lot of people are unemployed..and it is looking really bad out here. if you could imagen how frighten we are.. no money, no food, no heat.. many people left michigan, and i say.. good for them.. but some of us have homes, and can't sell it. some are forced to leave all of their belongings, and just leave. you see the homes, some don't even have the doors shut. my coworkers work long hours, many days, and still can't afford new shoes for work. children come first for food and necessity items. we are living the depression right now, right here. this state is beautiful..lakes, trees, deer..and that makes it even harder to imagen that i have to leave my home to seek work for my husband, a welder. i don't know the answer to which party will help me. i feel that we are the forgotten ones. in obama's voice, at least i hear some hope for us. i don't get that from mcain. i hope that those who are lucky enough to have good jobs, place to live, able to pay those bills won't look down on those who can't. we didn't buy the big houses or the fancy tvs. the companies shut down. the left, just as mcain left michigan in august. michigan use to be the backbone for u.s. economy..
